Writers Block – Sports disappointments

So I haven’t written here in a long time as I’m suffering from a serious case of writer’s block. There’s so much I could write about, yet my mind is unable to focus on.. So from now on, I’m going to write free form and write about things that interest me..

writers_blockOverall, I guess it’s just laziness… I’ve been so busy with just doing nothing that I’ve mastered the art of nothingness!

I was pretty depressed that my favorite hockey team the New York Rangers choked this year (again). They were ahead 3 games to 1 against the Washington Capitals and they couldn’t finish them off. Of course, they lost the 7th game of the series and are off to their summer vacation., First time in their history that they lost a playoff series after being ahead 3 – 1. Every year I say, that I’ve given up on the Blue Shirts, but every spring I sit with hope that they will:

a. Get into the playoffs

b. Get beyond the first round

To compliment this, my native NJ team the devils followed suit and lost their 7th game as well last night against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Now as a sports fanatic, all I have is the Metsies… New stadium, same inconsistent team… oh well such is life.

Oh I did find a great site a few weeks ago that put a smile on my face: fmylife.com — Now let me forewarn you that this site is not for the kiddies. I’m sure you can figure out what the initals stand for…

The one good thing that’s been going on is that I’m playing more and more tennis…..

Medical Advice

I was reading the health section of the New York Times on my iPhone and I came across this great article about finding a good doctor that I wanted to share with you.

This article talks about the medical related sites that you can go to get FREE  medical information. The sitest they listed were not the typical sites that I knew about.  Below are some of the best ones I saw:

I could go on and on but the article on the  NY Times website  – In Search of a Good Doctor,is truly a great starting point for you and your family for everything related to medical advice.

I personally found this article by Dr Chen, to be one of the best reads of this new year.
